ACTIVIST TO SPEAK

Distinguished Professor (sic) and political activist William Ayers will speak at Lane CC on Thursday April 26 at 1:30 pm in Forum 309. His talk is titled, "Teaching and Learning: The Personal and Political" and will address the themes of his work: Democracy, Education Reform, and Civic Engagement.  Professor Ayers is a controversial public figure and a devoted (sic) teacher, and scholar.  This event is sponsored by FPD, POD, and the Lane Peace Center.
